(2021 - Present). Advisory committee member on technology-facilitated gender-based violence with the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF).
(2020 - Present). Black and Racialized Persons Caucus member with the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women (OCTEVAW).
(2020 - 2021). Graduate student mentor to 6 BIPOC undergraduate students in the Communication and Media Studies department applying to graduate school programs.
(2019 - 2020). Course Instructor for 4th year undergraduates in Communication and Media Studies at Carleton University.
(2019). Workshop creator and facilitator of “Pathways to Digital Literacy“ workshop for middle grade students (7th and 8th) at Abraar Secondary School.
(2018 - 2019). Elected President of the Communications and Media Studies graduate student caucus (2018-2019).
(2017 - 2021). Vice Chair, Board Director, and Communications Chair with the Women’s Initiatives for Safer Environments (WISE).
(2013 - 2015). Co-founder and organizer of two Women and Technology conferences at Carleton University.
