PhD Dissertation (Tech to silence violence: Examining online activism of racialized women to end violence against women in Canada.)
Proposed, designed, and executed a multi-year research project.
Recruited and conducted in-depth interviews with racialized women across Canada involved in using digital media platforms for anti-violence activism.
Conducted qualitative close reading of digital platform design features, trade documentation, blog posts, social media presence and terms of use and privacy policy documents.
Won over $90,000 CAD in departmental, provincial, and national competitive scholarships.
Presented results at national and international academic conferences as well as local community events and meetings.
Produced peer-reviewed articles based on research insights providing policy and legal recommendations.
MA Thesis (Celebrity, sex, fashion … and feminism? Exploring the relationship between popular feminist media blog and perceptions of feminism.)
Proposed, designed and executed a 1-year research project.
Recruited and conducted interviews with young women in Ottawa who were regular readers of popular feminist media blogs.

Conducted secondary research from Indigenous stories, archives and personal documents based on the significance of Indigenous knowledge and scholarship for Indigenous early children learning development.
